**todo - what else should go here? (font: "Open Sans")[You take on the role of **Nalen Abayo Kara**, the Capitol Warden in the city of Alysa. She's well-versed in investigation and values her reputation. With a strong aversion to losing power (*especially* if that means being bound and gagged), Nalen has become one of the most effective wardens overseeing the <a data-passage="" class="tooltip"><span style="text-align: left;">*"The Devil's Gullet"* is a nickname for the Alysa City Prison. Nalen is strict, confident, and capable. Her parents groomed her to be a model officer in the Imperial government from a young age. The result is a prim, proper, and uncomproimising woman who brooks no excuses and suffers no fools.

To Nalen, there is no reason to break the law, and no point in running or hiding. Justice is meted out swiftly and without mercy. For Nalen, that generally means capture, punishment, and rehabilitation in the "Devil's Gullet under her watchful leather boot."]

(handwriting )
There has been an incident at the museum. They say the mummy came alive. The people are superstitious. Prepare an investigation immediately. Show them that witchcraft has no power in our city.
Preliminary findings:
The victim was an adventurer named **Calial**. She and her partner **Nell** have been employees of the museum. Others are **Director Deandra**,the museum's director and chief archaeologist. Arka **"Red"** Sanders has been the public face and was head of the expedition. NPC from Medico, an accountant and curator; **Cirq**, a page and attendant; and finally **unknown name**, the appraiser and auctioneer.
All, without exception, claim to have gone home yesterday evening as the building closed - leaving only the hired night guards, **Karyn Strongblood** and **Shenna'*s** character.
(font: 'IM Fell English')["The body of the adventurer and inquisitive Calial was found last night with signs of violence and magic - a mere hair from the mummy of the Pharoah. The strangest part of it all was that there was no living being with her at the time - only the mummy.
At 9:46 in the evening last night, a night-guard named Karyn Strongblood heard a scream and noises coming from the the room where the Pharoah was being kept. That exhibit had been recreated as a tomb of Lord Ishtar. It had but a single hallway in and out, and the guards swear they had the door in their sights the whole night - and that none could have left without being seen.
There are those that speak of a curse or a just punishment for disturbing the tomb of the Jackal-King. It would seem so. A second mummified body was found on the floor of the exhibit - completely and utterly wrapped in thick, white bandages that glow with arcane light. They are utterly impenetrable, with the adventurer Calial seemingly kept preserved and wrapped for all time as a living mummy!
The guard has told the press that the mummy must have made an ornamental vase fall and shatter, releasing some stored curse.]
